Toaster Oven Lasagna

We all love lasagna, don’t we? The ooey-gooey cheesy goodness layered between tender pasta sheets that just melt in our mouth. But today we’re bringing you something different. Something fresh! Something seafood-y! Yes, you guessed it right! Seafood Lasagna!

Let’s make things a little fancy folks! This isn’t the basic lasagna mama made for you growing up! We’re going to make something that’ll knock your socks off! Understood?

So let’s get cooking! But hold up, do you think we can make it in a toaster oven? Absolutely! We’re all about convenience here! So, bring out the toaster oven and get ready to make something fancy yet convenient- Cheesy Portobello Lasagna.

Alright, now let’s get back to our seafood lasagna. The one that’ll leave your taste buds dancing with delight! The one that’ll have your roommate asking “What smells so good?” The one that’ll make you feel like you’re being pampered by an Italian chef.

Grab these ingredients – lasagna sheets, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, heavy cream, shrimp, crab meat, tomato sauce, garlic, onion, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Yes, we’re making everything from scratch today folks!

First, let’s get started on the seafood part. Heat some butter in a frying pan, then add garlic and onion and let it cook until the onion is translucent. Add the shrimp and crab meat and let it cook until it’s pink. Let this mixture cool.

Next, preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the lasagna sheets according to the package directions.

In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, heavy cream, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

Now, we’re ready to layer! In a baking dish, spread a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom. Place one layer of lasagna sheets on top. Spread another layer of tomato sauce on top of the lasagna sheets. Sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Next, place a layer of the seafood mixture over it, followed by another layer of lasagna sheets. Repeat this process while adding the ricotta cheese mixture in between the layers until everything is used up. Sprinkle some shredded parmesan cheese on top.

After you’ve layered everything, cover it with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover it and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Voila! Your seafood lasagna is hot and ready to be devoured. But be careful! It’s really hot! After you’ve let it cool for a while, dig in and enjoy this luxurious taste sensation!
