I recently came across some amazing images of Instant Pots on the internet and I thought to myself, “Why not try it out and see what all the fuss is about?” So, I went ahead and got myself an Instant Pot, and boy was I in for a treat!
The Instant Pot is a multi-cooker that has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. It is essentially an electric pressure cooker that can also be used as a slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, and a steamer. It also has a sauté and browning function that allows you to brown your meats and vegetables before pressure cooking them. This means that you can make a whole range of dishes using just one appliance, which is perfect for those who are always on the go or simply don’t have the space to store multiple cooking appliances.
One of the things I love about the Instant Pot is that it takes a lot of the guesswork out of cooking. You simply select the program you want to use, add your ingredients, and let the Instant Pot do its magic. It also has a timer function that allows you to set the cooking time and forget about it until it’s done.
The Instant Pot is a versatile appliance that can be used to make a wide range of dishes. From soups and stews to rice and pasta dishes, the possibilities are endless. And the best part is that it cooks everything quickly and evenly, so you’ll never have to worry about overcooking or undercooking your food again.
One of my favorite things to make in the Instant Pot is Indian dishes. The pressure cooker function makes it easy to cook lentils, beans, and chickpeas to perfection, which are the main ingredients in many Indian dishes. You can also use the sauté function to brown your onions and spices before adding in the rest of your ingredients, which brings out the flavors and aromas of the spices.
If you’re a vegetarian like me, you’ll love the Instant Pot for its ability to cook beans and lentils quickly and evenly. I love making dal in the Instant Pot, which is a type of Indian lentil soup. It’s flavorful, filling, and packed with protein and nutrients. And best of all, it only takes about 30 minutes to cook in the Instant Pot!
Overall, I highly recommend the Instant Pot to anyone who loves to cook but hates the hassle and cleanup that comes with it. It’s a versatile and convenient appliance that makes cooking a breeze. And if you love Indian food like I do, then the Instant Pot is a must-have in your kitchen!
