Pampas Grass Christmas Tree Topper

Okay folks, have you ever heard of a pampas grass tree? No? Well, neither had I. But apparently, it’s the hottest Christmas decoration trend for all the hip and happening folks out there. And let me tell you, these trees are wild. As in, they’re made of real, live grass. Who would have thought that grass could be a Christmas tree? Not me, that’s for sure.

Tree 1: Pampas grass decor

Take a look at this first picture. This pampas grass tree looks like it belongs on the savannahs of Africa, not in your living room. But hey, if you’re feeling adventurous this holiday season, why not try something new? Personally, I prefer my trees to be made of plastic, but to each their own. And I must admit, this one looks pretty cool.

The second picture is even wilder. It’s a DIY pampas grass tree! Because, you know, nothing says “holiday spirit” like going out into your backyard and collecting a bunch of grass. But hey, I’ll give these people credit. They put in the effort to make this tree look pretty darn cool. And if they can do it, so can you.

But seriously folks, while these pampas grass trees are certainly unique, I think I’ll stick with my plastic one. I mean, can you imagine the mess if one of these things starts shedding? Grass everywhere! And let’s not even talk about the bugs. Plus, I just love the smell of my plastic tree. It’s like the scent of nostalgia and childhood all wrapped up into one.

So if you’re feeling daring, go ahead and give the pampas grass tree a try. But if you’re like me and prefer your holiday decorations to be a little less…organic, stick with the classics. After all, you can’t go wrong with a good ol’ fashioned Charlie Brown tree.
