Mudroom Coat Closet

Okay folks, I found something absolutely hilarious while cruising the interwebs today. You know how some people have a coat closet, but they never actually use it for coats? Well, apparently some geniuses have figured out how to turn that unused space into a mini mudroom. I mean, come on, who needs a coat closet when you can have a mudroom?!

Now, I’m not sure what’s going on with that deer head on the wall, but let’s just focus on the mudroom for now, shall we? I mean, look at all those hooks and shelves and baskets! This family is clearly winning at organization. And let’s not forget about that adorable little bench. I bet they sit there and put on their shoes like civilized human beings. Bravo, folks, bravo.

Wow, just wow. Can we take a moment to appreciate the sheer transformation that has taken place here? I mean, that before picture is just sad. A lonely wire shelf and some boring white walls. But now, oh now, we have a bright and cheery little mudroom. Look at those colorful hooks and those adorable little chalkboards. And that bench, it’s just begging for someone to sit on it and tie their shoes. I bet this family never misplaces a single hat or glove again.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am seriously considering turning my unused coat closet into a mini mudroom now. I mean, why settle for boring old coats when you could have a space that’s both functional and adorable? And let’s be real, who doesn’t want to be more organized?
