Bad Companion Plants For Cauliflower

Cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables to grow in my garden. It’s easy to cultivate and can be used in so many recipes, from cauliflower rice to roasted cauliflower steaks. But did you know that there are certain plants that make great cauliflower companion plants? That’s right, planting certain vegetables and herbs alongside your cauliflower can help it grow better and even repel pests. Here are some of my favorite cauliflower companion plants.

First up, we have celery. Celery is great to plant alongside cauliflower because it can help repel pests that are known to attack cauliflower, such as the cabbage white butterfly. Plus, celery and cauliflower have similar soil and nutrient requirements, so they make great growing companions. To plant celery and cauliflower together, simply sow the seeds about 12-15 inches apart in the same row or bed.
